Traveling with a toddler that is in the middle of potty training? You may think a road trip will put you a step backwards, but it doesn’t have to. Here are some tips for tots: 1. Pack a Travel Potty: Sometimes rest room may be miles away when a bathroom emergency strikes. A travel potty system creates a bathroom everywhere you go. Just pull over to a safe place along the highway, and your child can go to the bathroom without getting out of the car. You can dump the waste or tie the plastic bag and toss it at the nearest rest stop. 2. Pull on Pull Ups: Just because your child is traveling with training pants doesn’t mean you’ll set potty training back several months. Explain to your child that he/she is wearing Pull Ups® for accidents only. Instruct your child to still alert you if he/she needs to go to the bathroom. Check out the other must-read tips here.
